Dante Enewold is the founder and CEO of Atlantic BioCorp, a Newfoundland-based startup transforming crab and shrimp waste into high-grade chitosan for biomedical and industrial use. Having seen firsthand through his time as a procurement officer in the fishing industry and the volume of crab shell waste, he envisioned a sustainable solution.

After winning the Melwood Cup (2024), kickstarting ABC, within the year of founding the company, he secured a supplier, completed a fundraising round, and began engaging with customers.

Dante’s blend of philosophical insight, business acumen, and sustainability-driven innovation positions him as a rising leader in Canada’s biotech and cleantech sectors.

This driving passion didn’t stop with Atlantic BioCorp, seeing the potential of Organic Valourization with business partner Matthew Locke, they came together with industry partners to further research and supports for expanding this field to its full potential.

To Achieve that the Conclusion was simple, and OVALA was born.
